Story behind our quote...

“We create our tomorrows by what we dream today” - As a broke and discouraged college student, I went shopping at the local dollar store to see if I could find something to hang on my bare walls that would lift my spirits. Little did I know that I would find a sign that would inspire me for the rest of my life. Dreams are not always about mythical creatures or events that are WAY too good to ever come true. Dreams can be your reality with a little extra hope and awesomeness sprinkled on top. For example...your reality might be that you have a mediocre job that barely pays the bills and you are doing everything you can just to keep the status quo. Your dream might be that tomorrow you'll finally put in your application for that promotion you've been eyeing but always told yourself that it would just be "too good to ever come true". Then maybe you'll stop by that one store on your way home from work and buy that business outfit that made you feel like a CEO when you tried it on. Next thing you know...you're walking out of the best interview you've ever had when the hiring manager calls you back into the room. You've got the job!!!! Now you can afford that new hobby you've been wanting to pick up. You don't know it yet but in a few years that hobby will have given you a business idea that will lead you down the path of entrepreneurship. It all starts with a dream...

My Mission

I'm here to share my story and life experiences in hopes that it will help others along their journey. I'm nothing special nor am I better than anyone else...I simply believe that we all have a unique path in life and with that comes a unique story that holds truth and wisdom which has the power to help and inspire those around us if we share it. We all have a story worth telling and if I can help even one person by sharing mine then all of this will have been absolutely worth it. I think somewhere along the way, we've forgotten what it was to share our stories with our community and we have also forgotten what strength can be drawn from each other.

"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." Proverbs 27:17

I'll be sharing life experiences in the form of articles but will also be sharing lists of products that I've found helpful in my endeavors. I'll try to share affiliate links* to these products when I can but not everything I use will have an affiliate program available. Regardless...I'm sharing the products that I use and recommend to my friends and family...not just stuff that I can earn a commission on.

*Affiliate link - If you make a qualifying purchase using the links I provide, I may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. By using my affiliate links, you will help support the free content of this website and help a SAHM earn a little "mad money". Thank you in advance for your support!
